We are looking for an experienced React.js Developer to join our team in the life sciences industry. In this role, you will be pivotal in developing responsive and scalable web applications that will empower researchers, clinicians, and other professionals in advancing healthcare solutions. You will work closely with our team of experts to create cutting-edge digital tools that support life science applications, providing users with intuitive, high-performance interfaces.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Design and develop user-facing features for life science applications using React.js and associated libraries.
– Build reusable components that provide consistency and scalability across applications.
– Translate complex data and workflow designs into high-quality code and visually appealing interfaces.
– Optimize applications for performance, speed, and scalability to handle life science data efficiently.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including life science experts, backend developers, and UX/UI designers.
– Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews to maintain quality.
– Ensure data privacy and security compliance in all frontend solutions.
– Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications as the business evolves.
QUALIFICATIONS:
– Proven experience as a React.js Developer (2+ years), with experience in jQuery.
– Strong experience working with and refactoring legacy code.
– Proficiency in JavaScript and a solid understanding of React.js principles.
– Familiarity with React hooks, context API, and modern React.js features.
– Experience with React.js workflows, such as Flux or Redux.
– Knowledge of front-end build pipelines and tools, including Babel, Webpack, and NPM.
– Experience integrating front-end with RESTful APIs.
– Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and front-end performance.
– Familiarity with industry standards in data privacy and security compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS &SKILLS:
– University degree in Computer Science or a related field;
– Experience in life sciences or healthcare applications.
– Understanding of data visualization principles, especially for scientific or clinical data.
– Experience with TypeScript and code versioning tools (e.g., Git).
– Familiarity with pure JavaScript and jQuery library.
